These three volumes provide a wide scope of information on all types of insects, fascinating works on entomology.
Published as part of The Library of Entertaining Knowledge, a series founded by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. Published by Charles Knight between 1829 and 1838, these works were intended as complementary volumes to the Society's Library of Useful Knowledge.

CONDITION
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Spines are a little faded. A few light marks to the cloth. Small tear to the rear joint of Volume I. Hinges of Volume I are starting, as is the rear hinge of Volume II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean.
