This quality pair of Cobra's coil spring compressor
clamps are ideal for repairing and replacing shock absorbers, Macpherson struts
and springs.
The kit comprises two identical spring compressors,
each measuring 290mm (12") long and made of heat treated tempered steel
with drop forged steel hooks.
The compressors are simple to use:
Firstly remove the strut from the vehicle, turn the
hooks on the compressors along the thread of the bolt to the correct distance,
then attach the 2 compressors equally spaced on opposite sides of the spring
you need to compress. Then simply tighten the bolt to reduce the distance between
the hooks.
Alternate between each compressor to keep equal
pressure on either side of the spring for safety.
The hex head of the bolt measures 21mm diameter and
the length of the threaded area of the bolt is 28cm (11"). The hooks
protrude by 3.25cm (1.25").

If you are not 100% satisfied with your item we will gladly accept it back for a full refund provided your initial request to return the item is within 30 days from the date of purchase. All returns must be received in perfect resalable condition in order for refunds to be granted. If the item you return does not arrive in perfect resalable condition we cannot offer any refund.
All returned items must be include a copy of the original sales invoice.
