The 50mm "St Ives" frame gives you the option of "floating effect" - artwork sitting on top of the lip or the "traditional effect" - artwork sitting below the lip.

All sizes given on the listing are the photo sizes, i.e. the size of the photo to fit inside the frame from the back.

The size you are buying is the photo/picture size. Measure the picture/photo/artwork you want to frame. Select this measurement from our list and this will fit in the frame from the back.

The frames have a rebate of 17mm by 4mm, the internal depth of the frame is 17mm with a 4mm lip to hold the styrene/glass, picture and backing board in place.

When a picture is placed inside the frame from the back, approximately 4mm of your picture will be covered from all sides).

Comes with backing board as standard but glass and mat board as optional.
