The ultra-high-density nature of our material means that the material cuts, carves, sands, and heat-seals easier while also being able to support more weight than lower density foams if used to create footwear or props that will need to take weight.

What exactly is EVA foam?

Although you might not realize it, it is highly likely that you are currently already using EVA foam in your everyday life. EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) is the foam used in:

Packaging specifications: Foam Blocks

Each single block or multi-piece block set is packaged in a mail-ready 6mm thick double walled BC-fluted corrugated mailer box to protect your foam as much as possible during the shipping process. We knew from the onset that we wanted to avoid shrink-wrapping each foam sheet like other foam sellers for three main reasons.

1. Shrink-wrapping foam results in crushed corners and edges, damaging the product.

2. Shrink-wrapped foam products are usually put into random mailing boxes that frequently require being opened with a knife. Many common negative reviews we read on our competitor’s products were complaints about cutting slashes into the foam when they opened the box. This package removes that potential issue.

3. We are working hard to remove as many single use plastics from our process as possible to help stop needless waste.

PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION

While our Ultra High-Density EVA foam blocks are about as safe as you can get, turning our blocks into the amazing props and costume pieces you dream up can require sharp objects, toxic chemicals and adhesives, as well as countless other dangerous tools. We at Foam Forge recommend always using caution and safe practices when crafting.

SHIPPING

These blocks are huge! Because of that, shipping is more than smaller, more normal sized packages, even with our amazing shipping rates.

To greatly reduce the cost of shipping (can be $80+ through some carriers), we ship via UPS ground. If you need faster delivery services, reach out using the contact links at the top or bottom of this section and we can discuss other shipping options to see if any expedited services would work for you.

Handling Time

While our FOAM FORGE policy states a 1-2 business day handling time to ship an order, we try to get shipments in the mail same day if received before 2pm pacific standard time.

FLAT RATE

We have worked out a deal with our shipping agents to get this down to about $18 within the continental US.

ISSUES FROM SHIPPING

These foam blocks are pre-packed in very durable custom-made double-corrugated shipping boxes. That said, once it leaves our hands we know that mistakes can occur. UPS ground shippnig includes up to $100 insurance so please let us know if your order arrives damaged in any way so we can help you start the claim process.

RETURNS

Due to the massive size of this product, we do not accept returns at this time. Please review the information above and be sure of your order before placing it. If your product was damaged in shipping, please take picutres before, during and after opening for our records and let us know as soon as possible so we can file an insurance claim to help get you a refund.
