Built for consistent daily use, the CBW124S features a UV-coated paper and fiber blend cone. Additionally, it uses a durable foam surround. Together, these materials produce smooth and responsive bass. At the same time, they help resist heat, vibration, and long-term wear.
At its core, the subwoofer uses a 2-inch copper-clad aluminum voice coil wound on a rugged Kapton former. Therefore, heat dissipation is improved. This allows the subwoofer to maintain stable performance during extended listening sessions.
A 40 oz ferrite magnet motor structure provides solid control and efficiency. As a result, bass remains tight and accurate across a wide operating range from 20 Hz to 300 Hz.
With a 4.80-inch mounting depth, the CBW124S installs easily in both sealed and ported enclosures. Because of this, it works well in trunk builds and budget-focuséd upgrades.
