Around 2014 when I owned a 2012 BMW Convertible M3 V8 Hardtop (the last fully aspirated V8 model made by BMW) I went into my local BMW dealership parts department (the dealer where I bought my car) and there in the glass display case were the BMW Roundel and M Logo encrusted with Swarovski Crystal's!   I inquired what they were, where they came from etc...   The service parts manager explained that a local artist was contracted to make a small number of  BMW Roundel's and M Logo's with the crystals to see if they would sell.  I immediately purchased them!  

I had owned a lot of different BMW's and had just about every BMW M accessory out there (the parts service manager had started to become a friend!).  I took the crystal logo's to a framer and asked them to create a shadow box so that I could hang it on my wall in my office and thus you see the result in the attached pictures.   This shadow box hung behind my desk for a number of years until I sold my home and downsized to a small condo on a golf course.   It measures 12.75" x 12.75" x 2.75" in size.  

This is a very RARE item and not something you see typically on eBay, my local dealer said that they only sold a few of the roundels and even fewer of the encrusted M logo's (he said the cost was just too high and not enough profit for the dealership or the artist that made them).   Each were all individually hand made by the artist (she placed and glued each crystal into the BMW logo!)

I am selling this for a fraction of what I paid for it (or that it cost me to have them framed - all told it is around $600) in the hope that it ends up in the hands of a BMW M Enthusiast that will proudly hang it on their wall!

Note: Sold "AS IS" the Shadow Box was USED and hung in my office, so the shadow box shows minor scratches and slight sun damage to the finish of the shadow box frame (mostly minor but wanted to mention).
