This is an original antique map of New York City issued as an advertising piece by Hotel Bristol which was located at 129-135 West 48th Street in Manhattan.   This map measures about 8.25” x 4.25” and folds open to about 8.25” x 16.75”.  The front cover panel is printed:

Map of New York Places of General Interest and General Information Concerning the City HOTEL BRISTOL

One side features a large map showing Manhattan from 136th Street down along with parts of Hoboken, Jersey City, Brooklyn and Queens.   This map has a key showing connections to steamboat, transatlantic and coastwise lines as well as subway and elevated rail lines.   The verso has the cover panels and  smaller map showing the area of Midtown Manhattan around the Bristol Hotel.  The lower margin of the back cover panel is printed “Sept. 1925” so thus the date.

This vintage original folding map of New York City is fulling complete and well intact.   The cover panels show some dust staining.   Overall condition is otherwise very good with moderate handling wear.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
