A British handmade tool for shoemakers. Commonly known by several names:
But commonly called channelling or welt plough to cut a channel or holdfast on the leather insole. Welt plough creates an even cut around the leather insole leaving a channel to make holes in to sew the welt. This tool is made from cast steel.
