Elephant Nutcracker Ebony Black MCM Made in Germany Vintage
Item for sale is a rare elephant nutcracker made in Germany. Hinged at mouth with a brass insert for cracking nuts. Glass eyes similar to those found in antique ornaments. Likely made prior to WWII as it is only marked "Germany" on bottom and appears to be made prior to the reunification. Some minor wear with thinning coloring through the middle, some small dings, and nicks on the trunk and right ear. Please see all photos for details.
