DESCRIPTION:
Here you see an authentic and very beautiful folk painting, oil on cardboard, signed in Greek, low left, and titled left in the middle, by the important folk painter Michalis Varelas, b.1963 (named and modern Theophilos). It presents the glorious historic battleship of "Georgios Averof" (now a floating museum). Dimensions: without frame, 33 Χ 56 cm (or 13 X 22"), with wooden frame 40 X 63 cm (or 15 6/8 X 24 6/8") and weight 1.350 gr. Is in very good condition. sold "as is". (In our opinion, by replacing this frame, the artwork will completely change). From a smoke / pet free home. We do our best to describe everything thoroughly and accurately. We take detailed photos so you can see the full condition of the item. Please, before bidding, see the photos well as they are integral part of the description. The colors may vary slightly for various reasons. (remember that sometimes a picture can make items look worse than they actually are.
