There are many expressions of ART in culture and society.  Maybe not to all, but to me, jewelry is an expression of ART.  Through out our history, human kind has used jewelry to adorn ourselves, to set us apart.

There are highly coveted gems, pearls, diamonds, gold and silver.  Designers of every caliber.  

One of my favorite aspects of the ART of jewelry is the story that encapsulates each piece.  A history, a story, a meaning.  My grandmother a widow, wears the class ring of her former beloved on a chain around her neck.

Jewelry is a wonderful gift, no matter the cost, the gift is associated with meaning and filled with emotion.  There are cookie cutter designs and then there are pieces that stand out in a crowd.
