The Signature Series model SIGA-OSD Intelligent Optical Smoke
The detector is an intelligent device that uses advanced optical sensing
chamber to detect smoke. The sensor analyzes data from the
sensing chamber to recognize smoke from a fire while ignoring
nuisance non-fire sources and whether to initiate an alarm to the Fire
Alarm Control Panel. 
The Edwards EST SIGA-OSD is a plug-in Optical Smoke Detector compatible only with control panels using a Signature Loop controller.
