Andrew Lang's Red Fairy Book - Illustrated Folio Society Hardcover with Slipcase.

The Langs' Fairy Books, also known as Andrew Lang's Coloured Fairy Books or Andrew Lang's Fairy Books of Many Colours, are a series of 12 collections of true and fictional stories for children published between 1889 and 1910 by Andrew Lang and his wife, Leonora Blanche Alleyne. In all, the volumes feature 798 stories.

These Folio Society editions are set in Founder’s Caslon at the Folio Society and printed on Caxton wove or Cordier wove paper, in cloth blocked with distinctive designs as noted below. The books include many colour illustrations and line drawings. Each book is in its own slipcover, about 27 cm tall and 21 cm deep, with widths from 6 – 7 cm.
