This bearing puller is designed to remove the bearings that feature in many bike frames, hubs and freehubs without a punch or hammer. The bearings are removed in a precise and gentle fashion by tightening the screw to pull the bearings into a cup. It can be used to remove blind bearings.
This tool is a hybrid of our wind-out pullers and our expanding blind bearing pullers.
The correct size should be selected from the drop-down menu above to match the bearing's reference number or inside diameter, outside diameter and width. Each tool is suitable for one combination of bearing ID and width.
The tool consists of one of our expanding pullers sized to fit the bearing, and a cup that fits over the top to draw the puller out.
The inside of the cup will be sized to give 1mm clearance all around the bearing. The OD of the cup is 10mm larger than the OD of the bearing. There needs to be a flat area around the bearing for this cup to rest on.
We are now shipping our V2 expanding puller. The V2 tool includes several important improvements:
How to Use
This extractor tool is simple to use. As well as the extractor you will need an allen key and a spanner
| 1. | First, the expanding collet is inserted into the bearing and the nut tightened, causing the collet to grip the inside of the bearing | ![]() | |||||
| 2. | Next, the 'cup' part of the tool is placed over the collet and a nut screwed onto the end of the threaded rod | ||||||
| 3. | By inserting a hex key the expanding collet can be prevented from turning while tightening the nut with a spanner. Tightening the nut draws the expanding collet into the cup: | ![]() |

UK orders are sent by Royal Mail RM24 (First Class).
International orders are welcomed and will be sent by DHL GlobalMail or Royal Mail International Standard (Airmail). International orders will pay only once for shipping. Add two or more pullers, presses or kits to the basket to qualify.
