A fascinating study of words we still use today, such as 'catwalk', 'fed up' and 'soldier on', as well as nicknames, titles of regiments, and battle honours.


CONDITION

In quarter morocco with the original cloth boards. Externally fairly smart, with some fading to the boards and rubbing to the spine. Internally, firmly bound, except for the frontispiece which is coming loose. Pages are bright and clean.
