In celebration of the United States' bicentennial, Unites States government re-issued the two dollar bill as a federal reserve note. Also called the Bicentennial Two, the 1976 two dollar bill was partially redesigned from the previous series. It has a much different look than the 1928 two dollar bill, the 1953 two dollar bill, and the 1963 two dollar bill. Previous two dollar bill designs featured Jefferson's Monticello estate on the back of the bill. The back design now featured an image of the Declaration of Independence. In addition, the color scheme also changed. The bill now had a green seal instead of a red seal.

APR 13 1976 - In many cases, the first day releases of the bill were taken to local post offices by collectors to be stamped with the release date which for this bill is “APR 13 1976”, giving them additional authenticity. These stamped 1976 two-dollar bills are worth more than bills without a stamp.

GOOD - Circulated with signs of wear but special

VERY FINE – circulated but relatively crisp with little crease, fold, smudge, etc.

EXTREMELY FINE – may have been in circulation for a short period of time. Not original crispness but very close.

UNCIRCULATED /ALMOST UNCIRCULATED – has original crispness and shows no signs of ever being in circulation.

~Payment must be received within 7 days of auction ending or Ebay will automatically open an Unpaid Item Case against you.

Shipping & Handling 

~Generally, items are shipped within 1-3 days of payment receipt (except weekends) using USPS First Class mail unless item is of higher value or the weight is heavier, then I will use Flat Rate options.

~I generate my shipping labels from Ebay so you will receive an automatic email from Ebay with your tracking #information.

~If you prefer other shipping methods, UPS or FEDEX, please contact me before finalizing your bid so I may calculate the cost for you . 

~Items will only be shipped to confirmed accounts address and follow the USPS “Adult Signature Restricted Delivery” guidelines. 

~ Currency sold for under $20 will be mailed for $1.23 in a plastic money sleeve between cardboard in a #10 flat envelope. This method could take 2-6 weeks in route. *For a faster and more protection option, Please contact me to change the postage to $4.65 for Ground Advantage fee where I can put paper money in a cardboard media protector.
