This is the very first edition Hasbro came out with of this voice activated R2-D2 back in 2002. It can be programmed to follow your commands, bring you things, has mech arms that can even hold a soda or other things, has many lights, has sounds and responds to certain characters names. It's said if you mention Darth Vader he really doesn't like that. I used to have one years ago and can confirm.

Since this is unit is old stock, I am marking it used but it has never been opened, it is being sold as a collectible. It has been sealed for over 20 years. No warranties expressed or implied but it has been kept in a dry, dark place for that long. Only the outer box has a few markings from age.

These original R2s are really nice and hard to find and super nice art work, especially when you fold out the front cover. They were not meant to put back in the box once you built them. The last two pictures just show you what you are getting inside and what the box looks like, it is not this actual box.
