TBS (True Bypass Switching) with 4PDT mechanical switch.
Internal operating voltage can be selected between 9V and stabilized 18V.
The new circuit boosts the voltage to 18V with an internal DC/DC converter only when 18V is selected.
When 9V is selected, the internal DC/DC converter does not operate at all,
and the circuit operates with the voltage supplied directly from the battery or AC adapter.
