Composition
Sucralfate, cocoa butter, lanolin (vegetable), white paraffin, white wax, purified water, caprylyl glycol, calendula extract, chamomile extract, witch hazel leaf extract.
The form of the tool
Rectal ointment. Each tube contains 25 g of rectal ointment.
A cardboard box contains one tube and one plastic screw-on applicator.
What is Repaherb rectal ointment and what is it used for?
Repaherb Rectal Ointment is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with hemorrhoids and their complications (eg eczema, anal fissures). It covers and protects the epidermis, reduces skin inflammation and itching and thus helps to stimulate skin regeneration. It reduces the drying of the skin, thus helping the healing of wounds and reducing the risk of cracks and damage caused by defecation.
When should I avoid using Repaherb Rectal Ointment?
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to lanolin or any of the ingredients in this rectal ointment.
Do not apply to bleeding hemorrhoids.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of Repaherb rectal ointment during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not prohibited, but in such cases it is recommended to consult a doctor.
Interaction with other preparations
There is no data on the interaction of Repaherb rectal ointment with other preparations, therefore, it is recommended to consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this rectal ointment together with other rectal preparations.
Using rectal lubricant with a condom may reduce the safety of contraception.
How to use Repaherb rectal ointment?
Always use this product as directed in the instructions for use.
If the product is used in a manner other than that described in this instruction manual, symptoms may not be alleviated sufficiently and irritation may occur.
Wash your hands before using Repaherb Rectal Ointment.
Recommended dosage: The ointment should be applied to the edges of the anus, if possible after defecation and washing while sitting in water, or a small (bean-sized) amount of ointment should be pushed into the rectum using an applicator. It is necessary to ensure that the applicator is properly connected to the tube.
Before use, make sure that the packaging is intact, that the box contains all the ingredients and that the tube and applicator are not damaged.
If the package, tube or applicator is damaged, do not use the product.
After use, wash the applicator with warm water and soap and put the protective cap on the tube. Always wash your hands after using the ointment. It is recommended to apply the ointment once or twice a day. The applicator can only be used by one person.
The ointment should not get into the eyes, on the surrounding areas near the eyes, in the mouth and on its mucous membrane. If the grease gets on the mentioned areas, it should be wiped off or washed off.
Lubricant can stain underwear, so pads are recommended.
The duration of use depends on the relief of symptoms, but the ointment can be used for up to 4 weeks without breaks.
If symptoms do not improve within 1-2 weeks, consult your doctor.
Possible side effects
The use of any local preparations (especially long-term) can cause hypersensitivity reactions, the symptoms of which are burning sensation, itching, pain and redness. If you experience any of these symptoms while using this product, stop using it and consult your doctor.

Warnings
Keep out of sight and reach of children! Avoid contact with eyes! Do not swallow!
Repaherb rectal ointment should not be used vaginally.
Shelf life and storage conditions
The expiration date is indicated on the cardboard box and tube. The expiration date and batch number are indicated on the tube joint.
After the expiry date, the oil cannot be used. The ointment is suitable for use until the last day of the specified month
Do not store Repaherb Rectal Ointment above 25°C.
Protect from the sun.
Any medical device must not be disposed of down the drain or with household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unnecessary medical devices. These measures will help protect the environment.
