We all know that middle tab on a vintage Star Wars Millennium Falcon ramp - very fragile, and often broken. This listing is for a 3D printed replacement tab for the Falcon ramp. No ramp or any other vintage part is included, just the repair tab.
Essentially: you just glue it in place. A good bond and a good glue is important - it takes a bit of pressure to install the ramp after the repair tab is put in - if you don't have a good bond, you may need to re-glue! No different than the original tab - which is why it is so often broken. Don't be stingy with the glue, and make sure to let it cure for the manufacturer's recommended timeframe. I highly recommend Plastruct Plastic-Weld.
If there is any remaining bit of the original tab interfering with the repair tab sitting flat, you will need to either file/sand/cut the remnant down. Please dry fit the tab to make sure you know proper placement and that it sits well in the space before you glue it.
There are at least two different molds for the Falcon ramp, one that has a little support bar at the middle tab, and one that doesn't (see pic). This repair tab will work for either.
Due to inconsistencies in manufacturing, some Falcon's may have thicker or thinner parts (hull or ramp or both). If this ramp repair is still too tight to install after several attempts, file down the tip just a little and try again. It will fit nicely 95% (or more) of the time, but there are a few "fat Falcons" out there that may require a little extra work.
About 3D printed parts - they may have minor imperfections or visual defects from the printing process. These do not impact the function of the parts.
