100% Cotton. Machine Washable. The sweater is in excellent used condition. Approximately 26" in Length and 25" Chest. Pullover style.

Burma, 1974. Or was it ’76? The heat makes time unreliable.

The air didn’t move. It simply… existed. Heavy. Watching.

A British attaché—wearing a linen suit, poor judgment—assured me I’d regret the sweater. “Wrong climate,” he said, dabbing his forehead with something monogrammed and ineffective.

He was half right.

By midday, even the teak groves seemed to lean away from the sun. But the sleeveless design… that was the revelation. No clinging fabric at the arms. No unnecessary weight. Just enough structure to remain presentable when everything else—man included—threatened collapse.

I wore it into a roadside café where the ceiling fan rotated with philosophical indifference. Ordered something I couldn’t identify. Ate it anyway. The sweater held.

Years later, I remember very little about the meal. But the teal… that endured.
