The Chicago Stags were a professional franchise in the Basketball Association of America (BAA), which rebranded into the current day NBA in 1950. Offered is a full unused ticket from their January 28, 1949 game at the Chicago Stadium vs. the St, Louis Bombers. The Stags prevailed in this game, 83-65.
This rare ticket is in EX condition with three small hole punches on the front, probably denoting a complimentary admission. There are some dirt smudges on the reverse (see photos) and a circular imprint stamp stating "Amount Due & This Ticket Tax and Ser Chge .70". The Chicago Stags operated for four seasons from 1946 to 1950.
