Two genuine military ponchos/capes made of real canvas—free from synthetic blends. The canvas is densely woven, extremely durable, and natural. The largest size (Size III) is designed for soldiers between 180 and 190 cm tall. Two of these capes can be combined to pitch a two-person *lavvu* (teepee) style tent. Sleeping in a natural canvas tent offers an unforgettable experience and a close connection with nature. The material is completely free of plastics. These capes are no longer in production; the pair offered here comes from Polish military stockpiles—they are in perfect condition and hard to find elsewhere, as supplies were exhausted long ago. Only a tent made from this type of canvas is suitable for use with a wood-burning stove (stove and chimney not included). Don't be misled by the cheap Chinese tents often seen in photos with chimneys—they are unsuitable for this purpose. With polyethylene tents, a single spark can start a fire. Furthermore, they are made of thin plastic, their frames bend and break easily, and the tents themselves are essentially disposable. The two capes offered here are brand new and unused. They come from Polish military stockpiles, are in perfect condition, and are free of any odors. Some ponchos may show slight traces of long-term storage. They are incredibly durable and will last for many years. The set also includes two pole kits with green carrying cases. The poles are either new or in very good condition. Each set consists of two or three segments of equal length and four pegs. The auction price includes two original Polish Lavvu-style capes and two pole sets with khaki-colored carrying cases. Two such capes can be used to construct a tipi-style tent with a diameter of approximately 2.6 m and a height of about 1.5 m (tent dimensions depend on the configuration). The poncho is made of thick, densely woven, factory-impregnated canvas. Moisture protection is achieved by impregnating the canvas with a solution of resin, melted wax, and other natural ingredients—entirely without the use of synthetic chemicals. This process strengthens the material and protects it against harmful elements such as moisture, mold, insects, and fire. The protective layer leaves no visible residue and is odorless. Canvas tents are exceptionally fire-resistant, making them ideal for use with a wood-burning stove. The outer layer of the poncho is water-repellent and prevents moisture penetration.
