Description from goodreads.com:
This anthology is SO GOOD. Some of the weakest pieces are from authors Alice Munro, Michael Cunningham. But others like both Sheila Schwartz's "Afterbirth" and Michael Chabon's "Son of the Wolfman" are vivid. George Saunders' "Sea Oak" is so vivid and strange. There are some quirks to it as a collection but on the whole, this was just a really, really good year for literature.
