I have acquired a body of work by Lawrence Josset. Prints in line, stipple engraving and mezzotint, printed on wove paper, made as Christmas cards. All are pencil signed to the front and signed from Laurence Josset and his family inside. This listing is for a single paper as detailed below.

Fine original line and stipple engraving on wove paper.  Study of a donkey and sheep with distant Oast House, signed lower right. Inscribed in ink inside, on the other half of the folded sheet ‘Our very best wishes to you both for Christmas & the New Year from Lol & Beatrice’. Good condition, with light handling, light age toning and other minor marks/blemishes. There is also a small surface/scratch mark to the top right of the margin

Image measures 9.5cm x 7cm. Plate impression 11.3cm x 9cm. Paper size from the front with margins 18cm x 14cm, opened sheet 36cm x 14cm.
