Vintage Anglesea Junction Station Photo West Jersey & Seashore Railroad NJ 1905.

Nice vintage black & white photo of the Anglesea Junction Station from the early 1900’s. Anglesea is now a part of Wildwood, NJ. This station was serviced by the West Jersey & Seashore Railroad, which was itself owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad. In the top right corner of the photo is printed “Anglesea Junction Sta”, “Looking East”, “W.J. & S.R.R., “Completed April, 1901. Cost $2,339.70”. The photo itself is undated. A billboard behind the station is advertising choice lots for sale in “Wildwood-by-the-Sea, NJ. Written in pencil on the reverse of the photo is “RRS Station”. The photo is approximately 6.5” x 9”. The photo is in very good condition. It might be a reprint of an original, but I’ve never seen the shot before.
