This rare piece of Chicago Bulls and NBA history is in Near Mint condition with no flaws whatsoever. The game was shifted at the last minute to the venerable Chicago Coliseum, located at 15th and Wabash, due to scheduling problems at the International Amphitheatre near the Stockyards, the team's arena for their inaugural 1966-67 season.
This ticket was for Game 2 of the first round of the 1966-67 NBA Playoffs and pitted the St. Louis Hawks vs. the Bulls. The game ended in favor of St. Louis and was the only home game for the Bulls in that playoffs. They lost the best of five series 3-0.
The game attracted a small crowd of just over 3200 to the historic Coliseum, which closed its doors four years later in 1971. This was the last sporting event held in the Chicago Coliseum, and the only Chicago Bulls game played there.
Also included is a ticket stub for the same game (shown), which was likely a complimentary admission judging by the hole punch in the middle of the stub.
A one of a kind Chicago Bulls / NBA / Chicago Coliseum / Chicago history memento for a passionate collector!
