DESCRIPTION

Number four-hundred and seventy-eight of one-thousand in the original publisher's full morocco binding. In the striking 'British Sports and Sportsmen' library of sports, this on methods of shooting various kinds of game and pheasants. With numerous illustrations in text as well as frontispiece and eight full page plates of photogravures. Collated, complete.

The later undated edition, dated from Copac. Another limited edition to one-thousand copies was issued in 1913.

From the library of the Cazenove family, with modern bookplate to front pastedown.


CONDITION

In the original publisher's full straight up grain morocco binding, with five raised bands, gilt to spine and boards, gilt to edges. Externally sound with shelf wear, boards lightly marked, spine and joints lightly rubbed, general minor soiling. Cazenove bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Minor spotting scattered to the occasional leaf, particularly to leaves of plates, otherwise pages bright and clean throughout. With numerous illustrations in text as well as frontispiece and eight full page plates of photogravures. Collated, complete.
