About head lice
A head louse is a small wingless insect that lives only in hair and feeds on blood. It moves with 3 pairs of legs, with which it attaches itself to the hair.
An adult louse is 3-4 mm long.
Females live from 2 to 3 months and lay 200 to 300 eggs (glinds) during their lifetime.
They hatch after 7 days and mature in 10 days.
While feeding, the louse injects saliva into the scalp, which can cause a hypersensitivity reaction, resulting in severe itching and irritation.
Diagnosis can be confirmed by checking the hair for lice or nits, which are easier to spot.
About Paranit spray

How to use Paranit shampoo?
All you have to do is follow the instructions below step by step.
Step no. 1: Check for head lice.
Carefully check the hair of each family member with the enclosed Paranit dense lice comb, preferably in daylight. Treat all lice infestations on the same day to prevent re-infestation.
• Easier to control dry hair.
• Comb out tangled hair first, then check hair strand by strand.
• Check the roots of the hair, the areas behind the ears and the neck area, lice and nits are usually found in these areas.
• In order to avoid additional infection, it is necessary to thoroughly wash the comb with lukewarm soapy water after each use.
Step no. 2: Apply Paranit shampoo
Apply an adequate amount of Paranit shampoo evenly to dry hair. Make sure all hair and scalp are covered. Massage well from root to tip, paying special attention to the neck area and the areas behind the ears. Leave for 10 minutes. This is essential for successful treatment. When using, try to avoid contact with eyes and keep away from sources of ignition, do not smoke.
200 ml = up to 8 times, depending on the length of the hair.
Step no. 3: Wash your hair
After 10 minutes, add enough water to create a foam. Wash and rinse your hair thoroughly. Make sure your hair is washed clean.
Step no. 4: Remove lice and nits
Before drying your hair, remove lice and nits with a dense Paranit lice comb. 1 • Comb wet hair with a dense lice comb.
2 • Divide the hair into four sections: from the forehead to the nape of the neck, and then from one ear to the other. If your hair is long, you can tie each section.
3 • Divide each part into thin strands of hair so that the head is visible.
4 • Comb each strand of hair, starting as close to the head as possible.
5 • Remove any lice and/or nits you find with a comb.
6 • Separate each cleaned strand of hair to one side.
7 • To prevent re-infection, clean the comb every time with a cotton ball or tampon and always comb from the roots to the ends of the hair.
Step no. 5: If necessary, repeat the treatment after 7 days
After 7 days, repeat the treatment by repeating steps 1-4. This will ensure that the life cycle of the louse is completely interrupted. The gland that hatched after the last treatment will also be removed. It is safe to repeat the treatment several times.
Precautions before use

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
There are no contraindications to the use of Paranit spray for pregnant women. However, before using the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is recommended to always consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Warnings
For external use only. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor or poison control center.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes (mouth, nose). In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If rash, irritation or hypersensitivity occurs, stop treatment immediately and wash hair with normal shampoo.
Possible side effects
Itching or irritation around the eyes. Flaking of the scalp.
Contact irritation, redness of the scalp, ears or neck.
Storage
Store in a dry place at room temperature.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the bottle.
Keep out of the reach of children.
