TO GIVE YOU ONE TIP!!

You must buy a composite where the deck has a pressed in grain or embossed in the deck boards or the grain will fade off within 6 months.  Do not take the risk to save a few bucks.  Honorwood pressed in grain and weathered colouring cannot be replicated and will not be beaten in price.

Installation Tips

• ·        Leave a 4mm expansion gap between every butt joint and 6mm up against walls.
• ·        Use clips provided and 1 clip only ever connects 2 boards
• ·        When butt joining double joist so that the clips connects to 1 board on each side only on a full joist
• ·        Deck should be at least 300mm off the ground to allow circulation
• ·        Deck structure should be built to the Australian standard including post in ground with concrete

·    When deciding how many lengths make sure you allow for waste on ending joists.  Do yourself a drawing so that you do not have to waste extra with other deliveries. Deck should not be quoted in square metres but how many boards you need of 5.4m.

• Span 350mm to 450mm centres unless there is an angled cut in any way then revert to 300mm centres.
• Deck should not overhang a joist by more than 25mm.

Warranty

·        The product has a manufacturer’s warranty of 25 years. Subject to the full terms of the warranty document.

·        The factory has ISO9001, ISO14001, SGC, Intertek certification or ratings.

·        Warranty covers the boards replacement only ex Brisbane warehouse.

Pickups

·        Most trades utes with front support will take 5.4m lengths

·        If you buy your lengths and want to cut it onsite then we’re happy to assist

·        Open 6 days (Saturday pickups must be ordered midweek)

-$140 flat rate fee to the Northside of Brisbane

-$200 flat rate fee to the Southside of Brisbane

**We use backload trucks for all of the above and usually do all drops in other country towns we pass but following that main highway.  Sometimes these deliveries will be after hours
