This vintage Hopi Indian sterling silver patterned bolo tie has a black leather cord with sterling tips. The bolo measures approximately 39-5/8" (100.6 cm) in length including the 2-3/8" (6 cm) tips. The sterling piece measures approximately 1-13/16" (4.6 cm) by 1-9/16" (3.9 cm) across the top, and 1-1/8" (2.8 cm) across the bottom. Weighs 46.8 grams. This is sterling or a slightly lower grade of silver. There is a shiny section on the back where there were some numbers from a shop. A fellow ebayer told me they have the exact bolo with the hallmark of Bernard Dawahoya, also he used these same tips on his bolos. I cannot locate a hallmark on this piece. Very nice condition.
