A new, Lionel 630-2998-300 Alternate part for Aquarium/ Hobby Shop / Carousel 6.3 Volt Fuse Style Bulb x 3.

This is an alternative part option for the Lionel part # 630-2998-300 AG-3 Fuse style 6 volt bulb specified for the Lionel Aquarium building, Hobby Shop building and animated Carousel  accessories.  In these accessories, 3 of the fuse bulbs are connected in series which is why the 6 volt rating is used (3 x 6 = 18v) and why 12 volt alternate bulbs won't work (3 x 12 = 36v for full brightness)  This listing is for new bulbs rated at 6.3 volts so the light likely will be slightly dimmer than with original bulbs.

Since Lionel wired these in series strings of three, if only one blows then all 3 go out (like old Christmas tree lights.)  However, since the new and old bulbs are slightly different in rating it is important to replace all three bulbs in a string to achieve common brightness in that particular string.  (Be sure to check the bulbs removed and any good bulbs can be saved as spares for the other strings!)
