Wi-Fi adapter EQModFi DB9 is designed for wireless connection to the EQMod application, equatorial GoTo mounts SkyWatcher EQ6 (NEQ6) and their analogues from ORION. The EQModFi DB9 Wi-Fi adapter connects instead of the SynScan hand controller to the DB9 connector located on the mount. 

To connect all other SkyWatcher equatorial GoTo mounts and their ORION counterparts to the EQMod app, an EQModFi RJ45 Wi-Fi adapter (https://www.ebay.com/itm/134159044667) is required. 

The only interface of the EQMod application is the COM port, so to connect via Wi-Fi, you need to create a WiFi bridge (TCP) -> virtual COM port. To do this, you can use the HW Virtual Serial Port software or the  USRVCOM application. An example of USRVCOM application settings for connecting to the EQMod application using the EQModFi DB9 Wi-Fi adapter is shown in the product image. EQModFi supports both access point and local station modes. Also, EQModFi has a large number of different settings, which can be accessed on the settings page at 192.168.2.1, the default login is EQModFi, the password is 12345678. All these features make this small Wi-Fi adapter an indispensable device for organizing remote control of the telescope.
