The EQModFi RJ45 Wi-Fi adapter is designed for wireless connection to the EQMod application of almost all known SkyWatcher and ORION equatorial GoTo mounts, except for EQ6 (NEQ6) mounts and their ORION counterparts. The EQModFi RJ45 Wi-Fi adapter is connected instead of the SynScan hand controller to the RJ45 connector located on the mount. 

To connect EQ6 (NEQ6) mounts and their ORION counterparts to the EQMod application, an EQModFi DB9 Wi-Fi adapter (https://www.ebay.com/itm/134159048839) is required. 

The only interface of the EQMod application is the COM port, so to connect via wifi, you need to create a WiFi (TCP) -> virtual COM port bridge. You can use the HW Virtual Serial Port software or the USRVCOM   application for this. An example of USRVCOM application settings for connecting to the EQMod application using the EQModFi RJ45 Wi-Fi adapter is shown in the product image. EQModFi supports both access point and local station modes. Also, EQModFi has a large number of different settings, which can be accessed on the settings page at 192.168.2.1, the default username is EQModFi, the password is 12345678. All these features make this small Wi-Fi adapter an indispensable device for organizing remote control of the telescope.
