This "97" carb scoop is a polished aluminum casting with a copper screen and locking screw. It features timeless 1950's styling with a "frog mouth" shape and fits all Stromberg 97 style and Holley/Ford 94 style carbs with a 2-5/8" diameter neck. It is compact enough for all multi-carb setups. Attaches to the carb with a single set screw.

This sturdy product is totally fabricated out of stainless steel and fits within the throat of your trusty old Stromberg, Holley, and Ford brand carbs, including types 48, 81, 94, and 97.
Since Bug Domes fit within the I.D. of the carb throat, you can use them with popular slip over accessories such as velocity tubes, stacks, etc.

Set screw needs improvement
Summary: The overall fit and finish of the product is great. The one issue with it is the set screw is in the worst spot for using the super 7 carb. It lands directly on the small vertical ridge at top of carb. Hardly any meat to push against. Also I bought three brand new scoops and one doesn't tighten down, like the threads were already stripped out. Might be better if both sides have a set screw or move the one away from the side.
