1890 N217 Kinney Bros. BUTTERFLIES OF THE WORLD (Gold) -WTI #40 Butterfly. Interesting set that had 10 numbered cards with a distinctive white background along with 50 that had gold (actually the white backed cards were remade with the gold as well so only 40 new designs with the gold background). They are numbered by the World Tobacco Index (WTI) and that is often their reference number so I have added that , the cards themselves are not numbered.
