80A ~ 380A 3S 4S Lithium Li-ion LFP LiFePO 4 Battery Protection BMS Board Balance
1. Scope of application: Nominal voltage: 3.6V, 3.7V 18650 lithium battery, polymer soft-packed battery.
2. First of all, confirm the maximum current of the load, especially the load of safety class, such as motor, when the motor starts, the current is 6-8 times of the rated work.
To meet: the maximum discharge current of the protective plate should be greater than the maximum current of the load, so as to avoid the phenomenon of over-current protection.
The working current of the protective plate should be greater than that of the load to avoid overheating.
3. First confirm: the capacity of battery, discharge rate, maximum discharge capacity of battery, maximum working current of load.
The protection board provides the protection channel of the discharge switch. The discharge itself or the battery. The discharge capacity of the battery at different rates is different. The battery should be selected to protect the life of the lithium battery.
To meet: battery capacity X ratio = maximum discharge current > maximum load current
For example, if the maximum current of the load is 40A, then if the selected battery capacity is 3600mA, the discharge rate will be 20C, and the maximum discharge capacity of the battery is 2.6AX20=40A.
Before connecting to lithium batteries, make sure that the voltage and internal resistance of the batteries are the same.
4. The charging current of lithium batteries is less than 0.2 times of the actual capacity of batteries. Excessive charging current will seriously damage lithium batteries.
