I personally removed the metal insert containing the egg poachers and use the non-stick copper pan by itself.

Turns out to be my favorite pan, perfect size for most of my cooking.

Been using one of these pans for almost a year and it still looks brand new.

This is a very strong, heavy duty pan with heavy duty handle that has dimple in it for finger (thumb) control when carrying pan. (see pics)
