Hard cover itself is in good condition. Some wear at top and bottom of spine slight slant to spine but spine in strong shape. Blue fabric with silver, embossed lettering to front cover and spine.

Interior - Right half of front end paper (very first page) is missing. End papers are illustrated. The rest of the interior pages are in excellent condition. No writing, folds, rips, tears, underlined text or dog eared pages. Pages are off white.

Winterbound is a children’s novel, a family story set in a Connecticut farm house during the Great Depression. Nineteen year old Kay and sixteen year old Garry are in charge of the house and their younger siblings while their parents are away during the Winter. It was also a Newbery Honor recipient in 1937.
