ITEM DESCRIPTION    

Estate Find: Extremely HeavyDoorstop or Bookends of German shepherds. These vintage doorstop /bookends are believed to be from around the 1930’s Era.    

These were recently acquired at an estate sale..  

The photos included in this listing are of the item being sold.

1. I did not find a maker’s name or number on the doorstop. 
2. The doorstops are not identical in coloring. One has a  dark metal color though one can see hints of an ever so slight bronze color.
3. In places, the dark metal is scuffed.
     

CONDITION :  

1. The doorstop is in good condition. (Please note, good condition means an item has one or more blemishes.)
2. The finish has normal wear and surface scratches from usage and age. 
3. It has no cracks, dents, breaks, or repairs.
4. The doorstop has some rust, as well as patina, and fading of the color.
  

SIZE : (The measurements are approximate.)

1. The doorstops / bookends measures approximately 3.5” long x  9” high x 2.5” deep.
2. Before packaging, the approx. weight of both bookends is 13 lbs 8 oz.
