Chocolate Scotch Bonnet is the most rare in the entire Scotch Bonnet chilli family. This is one of the the hottest chilli pepper in the world. It's rated over 350,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) where a Jalapeño pepper produces between 3,500-8,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU)!!! Peppers ripen from green to dark brown and has a fruity and slightly smoky flavor!

Scotch Bonnet is also known as Boabs Bonnet, Scotty Bons, Bonney chili pepper. They are found mainly in the Caribbean islands, it is also in Guyana, where it is called "Ball of Fire". Fresh, ripe scotch bonnets change from green to colours ranging from yellow to scarlet red. Ripe peppers are prepared for cooking by those who cannot handle the sharp heat by cutting out the area around the seeds inside the fruit, which holds most of the heat.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:

For Chilli, Eggplant (similar small seeds)
Fill the pot with seed raising mix. Make a small hole in the middle and sow the seed between 8 to 10mm deep. Cover the hole with some soil and spray water gently. Please make sure to keep it moist and always provide them between 22 to 24 degrees of constant heat. For best germination success, please use a heat mat under the pot. Buy a heat mat from eBay and it won't cost you much and will last for a few years. Seeds germinate between 2 to 5 weeks’ time depending on the variety you are growing.

For Gourd, Bean, Melon (similar large seeds)
