Camouflage shoe with 4-eyelet laces and a three-layer Solovair sole that moulds slightly to the shape of your feet over time at the front, where there is a layer of felt under the foot-bed. The outer sole is welded to the welt and made of thick plastic which is oil acid and alkali resistant. The welt is sewn to the side of the shoe, allowing space for the felt mid-sole. This and UK production in small batches does raise the price a bit - shoes made like this are often sold for well over £100 but this is an end-of line with an unusual way of wearing-out so it's cheaper.

The uppers when new are smooth camouflage canvas, and with time fray slightly at the creases to make a relaxed, bohemian look. The process is slightly slower if you wax the uppers with any transparent wax, sprayed-on or brushed-on.

The lasts are shaped for men and boys but a lot  of women and girls buy them. If the heel turns-out to be a little wide, just ask us to post a butterfly-shaped patch to glue-in and help the shoes fit. It's small; we'll send it free.
