This filter offers over 3 times the filter media compared to a round filter. This allows for better airflow and longer filter life.  
Just need connect the filter to cpap machine between the air outlet and your heated tubing or mask elbow.

This filter is meant for single use.  This filter should not be cleaned or washed.  

The filter measures basically 2-3/8" x 2-7/8" x 3-1/2" H.  

The opening sizes are:

7/8" (22mm) ID & 15/16" (25mm) OD

25/32" (20mm) ID & 7/8" (22mm) OD

This filter does not work well with ResMed Airsense 11 machines. It will not attach at the machine. It would need to connect near the mask, potentially making it too bulky and not staying connected well.
