1968 Pattern Jackets
some would say the best era of the Dpm dynasty now 1960 pattern has gone sky high in value, and equally rare.
these will vary in condition, each listed with a separate description and images.
68 pattern jackets are now becoming rare, and will only go up in value, great wearable classics
SIZE 6 good big size 23" across the chest, complete, original, two tiny marks on chest shown
SIZE 5 ..spot on no faults, no hood though
SIZE 3 ref 002.. grade 1, well performed repairs on the back shown
SIZE 4 ref 003.. small holes in hem as shown and vivid colour, buttons all intact
SIZE 8...grade one nothing missing..24" Across the front of chest..big Jacket..small tear on liner
SIZE 8 ref 002..rare light hue, inc hood all good no faults
SIZE 1 ref 004.. super condition, one breast pocket button missing, one 3mm tear in the rear..easy fix, matching and original hood..
SIZE 2 ref.005.. nice condition, poacher pocket is damaged, rear has small damage on the very base
SIZE 9 ..biggest made 26" across the from of the chest...couple of faults shown..bargain size 9
The British Army sizes for the 1953, 1960 and 1968 pattern combat smocks.
Sizes 1, 2 and 3 were for a person up to height 5 ft 7 with 3 chest sizes,
34 to 36 inches (size 1)
37 to 39 inches (size 2)
40 to 43 inches (size 3)
Sizes 4 to 6 were for a person from 5 ft 7 up to 5 ft 10 with the same 3 chest sizes.
The last three, 7, 8 and 9 were for 5 ft 10 up to 6 ft 2 with chest sizes

36 to 38 (size 7)
39 to 42 (size 8.)
43 to 46 (size 9)
