NEW FUEL PUMP REBUILD/REFURB KIT FOR LISTER JUNIOR A/B TYPE

 

Fuel pump rebuild kit to fit the Lister A/AK B/BK Range of engines.

FITS LATER STYLE PUMPS WITH EXTERNAL SPRING AND DUST CAP ONLY. EARLIER ENGINES WITH INTERNAL PUMP SPRING ARE DIFFERENT. Please send photo of your pump if you are unsure.

Not something that has ever been available as a genuine part so has been designed by myself and other enthusiasts to aid in the rebuild/restoration of the Lister A/B type engines and easily rebuild the troublesome fuel pump so that it can continue to provide faithful service for years to come.

So good that it has been quickly copied by others, Just without the knowledge and experience of any genuine enthusiasts.

The kit contains the following

1 x Steel spring, Exclusively manufactured for the job, Not just something off the shelf that looks like it might fit.

2 x Marine grade stainless steel balls, 1 for the inlet side, 1 for the outlet. The originals were made from brass/bronze and are susceptible to flat spots when seating (too soft) along with              greening/furring up with stale fuel. Marine grade stainless steel solves both of these issues.  

1 x Length of gland packing string, sourced by us for the job to ensure it is fuel safe and not degrade over a short time period like some. Due to the fact that all of the pumps wear differently        over time, the gland packing is supplied over length and will require trimming to suit.
