Hilltop Park was the iconic home of the New York Highlanders in the early 1900's. Almost all of the photos of Hilltop Park were during baseball games.
What is mostly lost to history is that from 1903-1911, there were roughly forty football games played at the field. The field was retro fitted to accommodate football field. The famous apartment buildings in center field dominate the landscape and confirm the Hilltop Park Location.
