For Parts Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 6000 & Working USB Receiver

The mouse stopped working for my son one day and we changed the battery and still no go. I tried to press the connect button on the receiver and the mouse and still wouldn't work. The receiver lights up so that part is working. Perhaps we just don't know how to properly sync the mouse.
