Antique Art Nouveau Hand Painted Figural Maiden Porcelain Brooch Twisted Brass Frame 

The back of the porcelain is marked with what looks like 4-0

Measures approximately 1 3/4" x  1.5" (images have been significantly enlarged to show detail) 

Nice antique condition for accuracy I want to mention there is a small spot on the right side of the maiden's face much less visible to the naked eye than in the enlarged pictures. Also the bar of the C-clasp closure is a bit bent.
