Faulty module symptoms

 

-Takes several attempts before car will start

-Steering lock fault code 

-Clicking noise when key inserted

-No ignition car will not start

-Vehicle immobilised

 

The module is located on the lower half of the steering column .

There is no need to remove whole steering lock.

 

TIP!!!

Use a soldering braid or wick to remove solder from components as they will come off easier without damaging anything. Make sure holes are clean when fitting new components. Soldering flux is recommended
