Rhododendron and Azalea Fertilizer is a granular mineral fertilizer. Designed for fertilizing all species and varieties of rhododendrons, azaleas and other heather plants. The fertilizer can also be used in the cultivation of other acidophilic plants.
The fertilizer contains optimal doses of macro- and microelements adjusted to the needs of heather plants. The main distinguishing feature of the fertilizer for rhododendrons and azaleas is the ability to maintain the correct acidic reaction of the substrate, which is very important in the cultivation of heather plants. It is only in this reaction that rhododendrons, azaleas and other heather plants are able to extract all the nutrients from the soil. Rhododendrons and azaleas very often suffer from nutrient deficiency diseases. Symptoms of deficiencies are various types of discoloration and spots on the leaves. Sometimes plants do not bloom due to a shortage. Nitrogen and the microelement - iron are the components of the fertilizer that can be easily supplemented with the use of fertilizer. Their deficiency is evidenced by the interveinal yellow discoloration of the leaves. Brown spots on the leaves are a boron deficiency which will also complement the fertilizer for azaleas and rhododendrons. Potassium provides the leaves with adequate firmness thanks to the correct water management in the plant's tissues, but also extends the flowering period. The high potassium content also has a positive effect on the overall appearance of plants, their health and resistance to frost. Properly selected macro- and microelements ensure proper growth, abundant flowering and intensive color of flowers.
